Our CSR Policy

The European Commission Green Paper (2001) defines CSR as “the voluntary integration by companies of social and environmental concerns into their commercial activities and their relations with their stakeholders”. Our hotel is fully committed to this approach.

01

Employment

We strive to integrate a disabled worker into our team. The work organization of all hotel employees is adapted to facilitate their integration into an ordinary work environment.

02

Water consumption

Our showers are gradually being equipped with water-saving shower heads. Your sinks are equipped with water-saving aerators.

03

Treatment of our hotel linen

Our laundry is processed on site to avoid energy-intensive transport. We use soap-based detergents whose impact on the environment is more limited. We recycle the courtesy soaps that we use for our laundry. Unless necessary, we carry out cold washes (30 degrees maximum) and for short periods of time. For drying laundry, we have equipment with a heat pump that we use primarily on conventional dryers.

04

Heating optimization

Our building has a B energy consumption classification, which demonstrates our long-term efforts in terms of insulation. Furthermore, we have equipped our boiler with a regulation system which automatically cuts off the heating when the return water temperature is higher than the expected temperature. This system is associated with clocks which ensure a sense of heat at expected times, in the morning for our customers' showers for example. We are starting to install thermostatic valves on our radiators. In each room, although the temperature is pleasant, in principle 19 degrees, we provide extra blankets.

05

Welcoming disabled customers

We inherited the history of the building which was a clinic, premises perfectly adapted to accommodate the disabled, spacious elevators, corridors and wide doors. We have a room adapted to accommodate disabled people. Our disabled toilets are equipped with flashing lights so that the hearing impaired are informed of a possible fire alarm.

06

Lighting

We are replacing all our lighting with less energy-consuming LED equipment. We install presence detectors which turn on automatically when our customers pass by and turn off after the programmed time. Reducing our electricity consumption allows us to replace the transformer into a simple LINKY meter, which is in progress.

07

Selective sorting

We practice selective sorting whenever possible. We dispose of all our internal work waste or sorted glass at the recycling center and we take the greatest care to do so with care. We are thinking about a solution (selective sorting bins in each floor kitchen) which will allow our hotel guests to practice selective sorting without cluttering their rooms with multiple bins.
